Join us for Under Armour’s Great Plains Lacrosse Classic Tournament presented by Tom Marechek and All Pro Lacrosse featuring coaches from NCAA D1 - D3 and MCLA Top 25 D1 and D2.

Tournament Clinic

On Friday evening before the Tournament, Hall of Famer Tom Marechek and the NCAA Coaches will be conducting a Skills’ Clinic that will allow your players a great opportunity to learn new skills and reinforce fundamentals from one of the games all-time greats.

Great Plains 44 All Star Game

On Saturday evening of the tournament weekend 44 high school players will be selected to play in the inaugural Great Plains 44 All-Star game in front of all of the college coaches in attendance.

Round Robin Rules

Details

  1. Gametime: Two 20 minutes halves (games begin promptly).
  2. Half-Time: 4 minutes
  3. Timeouts: One 30 second time out each half. Timeouts do no carry over to the next half. Refs will blow whistle after 30 seconds for players to return to field and game clock will resume.
  4. Referees: 2 referees per games
  5. Checking Rules: NCAA rules
  6. Overtime: 2 minute overtime – after two minutes then Braveheart
  7. Substituting: Subbing on the fly (no horns)
  8. Stoppages: Only stoppages for fouls and timeouts

Roster Rules

Minimum Roster Requirement: 18 Players

  1. No player may play on more than one team during the tournament. 
  2. US Lacrosse age guidelines will be applied for the U13 and U15 divisions.
  3. U13 players must have been born after August 31, 1998.
  4. U15 players must have been born after August 31, 1996.
  5. Age eligible high school players may compete in the U15 division, regardless if such players have competed at the high school level.
  6. No high school graduates are eligible.

Schools attending include: University of Virginia (UVA), University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), Jacksonville, Marist, Mercyhurst, Susquehanna University, Ferrum College, Binghamton, and more...

High School - $160 Per Player (player registers)
**Deadline-- Coach must register team before April 15th for discount to apply to players. Discount will apply even if players register after deadline.
Kansas Teams:
Team Registration - $100 (coach registers team)
U13/U15 - $105 Per Player (player registers)
High School - $150 Per Player (player registers)
